How long your treatment will last depends on your concerns, your level of consistency and engagement in therapy, and your goals. Each client is unique with specific needs; I have seen clients anywhere between two months to two years.
Arrive at 3400 Bissonnet and look for suite 270 on the second floor; make yourself comfortable in the waiting area and I will come and greet you at the start of your appointment time. The focus of the first session is to get to know you, discuss your current concerns, and identify your goals for therapy. I will ask you about different aspects of your life that may contribute to your current experiences. You will also have an opportunity to ask as many questions as necessary for you to make an informed decision regarding your treatment.
Will be less structured but you can expect to be challenged to step out of your comfort and reflect on your thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and relationships while being supported every step of the way. I will ask questions, share my observations, and note patterns and themes that emerge from our dialogues as a means to increase your insight and help you achieve your therapeutic goals.
We will consistently evaluate your progress in your goals and reassess them accordingly. We will discuss when our last session will be prior to scheduling it. You will have an opportunity to reflect on your therapy experiences and provide feedback if desired.
Everyone can benefit from the support of counseling; be it to treat an existing concern or prevent more severe concerns, counseling can assist people in coping with the stress of life. Life has ups and downs and counseling can help us examine our responses to these cycles. Clients often report: a greater sense of well-being, decreased anxiety, increased ability to cope with stress, improved relationships, improved mood, greater ability to express emotions, better communication, increase comfort with themselves, decrease in symptoms, better understanding of themselves, better quality of life, and a sense of relief and empowerment.
I work with adults (18 and older).
Please note that our services are offered to Texas residents; if you choose to do online therapy, you will receive the required paperwork and a link via email to obtain services via a secure and confidential Telehealth platform.
$200 for a 50 minute individual therapy session.
$300 for an 80 minute couples counseling session.
$150 for a 50 minute individual therapy session for students and recent graduates (must show proof of current enrollment at a college or university or have graduated within the past 2 years).
In order to ensure the most confidentiality, I do not accept insurance at this time but you may select to work with me as an out of network provider. If you select this option, you can request a statement of services at the end of each month that can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement; consult with your insurance provider for information regarding their reimbursement rates.
Fees are due at the beginning of each session or service provided.

Cancellations / Rescheduling / No shows
Cancellations and rescheduling of sessions must be done 24 hours in advance by calling 281-709-2933 or
e-mailing email@example.com if not they are considered "no show" and you agree to pay the full fee for services; this is done because you are reserving the time and space to receive services. Your cooperation with this is greatly appreciated to allow other clients to utilize the time and space should you need to cancel.
